About Petey

Petey is a rescued American Bulldog with a very big voice.

Before he found his home, Petey spent time in a shelter where he was often labeled “too loud” and “too much.” He was punished for using his voice and became silent.

For months after his adoption, Petey barely made a sound at all.

Then one day, during a long car ride, something changed.

Little by little, Petey started singing — in the car, around the house, and anywhere he felt safe enough to fully be himself. What began as one funny howl turned into the joyful, dramatic “car concerts” that so many people now know and love online.

This space is where we share Petey’s journey, behind-the-scenes moments, and updates on his upcoming children’s book inspired by his real story.
